Water and energy conservation
The hotel has active programs for water and energy savings, which also includes education and training programs for staff, and the implementation of their 5 "s" program which includes sorting and recycling trash, environmental issues, interpersonal relationships, and quality of care.
Part of this program is their efforts to reduce water and electricity consumption in the hotel. They have engaged guests, as well as staff, to minimise laundry and use of electrical appliances. Guests' involvement in this is very important.
There are also additional tips that guests can follow for conserving water during their stay. Ideas include reporting leaks to management, shutting off the faucet while brushing their teeth or shaving, taking short showers, and moderating the use of their thermostat.
