Foz will host the State Conference on Development Economics in April.
The 2nd State Conference of Solidarity Economy in Paraná will be on April 23rd to 24th in Foz do Iguacu. The event is themed "The right forms of economic organization based on the work involved in collective ownership, cooperation and self-management, reaffirming the Solidarity Economy as a strategy and policy development."

Futsal Copa America 2010

Iguassu Falls will host between 23 and 30 May 2010, the Copa America Selections Futsal. The announcement was made on Thursday 26th night in Asuncion, Paraguay, the chairman of the South American Football Confederation (CSF), Nicolas Leof. The matches will be broadcasted live by major TV stations in the country, throughout South America.
