Bananeira's Trail

Trekking 1.6 km on foot or in a cart jeep in order to visit the subtropical forest opposite the falls and along the edge of the Iguaçu River is the main attraction on this unforgettable tour. 

A 500-metre trail gives you access to a 10-metre high observation tower. From the tower, an incredible panoramic view of the forest can be seen, especially a view towards the Alligator Lagoon, where a great diversity of aquatic species can be found.

You will return the same way to the Black Well Port, where the navigation for the high part of Iguaçu River starts. On board a snack is served. During the navigation we pass the archipelago of the Taquaras, where we start the descent of the Iguassu River until the Island of the Parrots. Then, guests have the option to row in Inflatable Kayaks for 2 people (ducks) - the ones who opt not to, remain on board the motorboat.

We finish the tour on the deck of the Bananeira's Trail, where the visitor finds bathrooms and an area to rest. The way back can be made on foot or with transport that leads until the Macuco Safari Station. All activities are supervised by specialised guides and all safety equipment is provided.

The tour includes one mineral water bottle (500 ml) for each person.

In the inflatable kayak, the passenger will get wet. We suggest you bring a towel and extra clothing (t-shirt and shorts).

We suggest comfortable clothes and shoes for walking (trainers, walking boots), sun cream, insect repellent and camera.

The use of the safety equipment (life-vest and helmet) is obligatory.
