Great Adventure Boat Ride

Duration: 1 hour(s) - Location: National Park of the Iguazu - Puerto Iguazu

The route starts with an 8-km vehicle ride to the Puerto Macuco forest base. After a short 100 m walk to the service station and a 100-m flight of stairs, comes the floating platform from where the boat is boarded and the second part of the trip begins.

The boat cruises for 6 km through the canyon until the falls. This ride includes 2 km of river rapids. After enjoying the views from the calm side of San Martín, the boat navigates to the base of the falls to the Three Musketeers, from where the Brazilian and Argentinean views of the Iguazú falls and the Devil's Throat can be best appreciated. From here, the boat goes along the shore to begin the unforgettable experience of facing the San Martin waterfall, because it is the largest waterfall that a motorboat can approach safely.

From there it is back to the base of the lower circuit for disembarkation. There are other Iguazú Falls trails that can be followed from the base.
